The under working face equipment of a self-supporting structure is a special collecting scraper conveyor. It is installed and moves on the footwall of an opening and its front part passes over on a undercarriage over the end part of the belt conveyor connected to it. The force necessary for this traverse is produced by the straight hydraulic motors on the travelling part of the equipment. 

 
In case the electrical equipment is installed on the positioning plates of the under working equipment there is no necessity to install the suspension railway for its operation.
The under working is equipped with grips and stretching straight hydraulic motors for the carrying ropes of the belt conveyors.
 
Anchorage of the working face KPD-F 02 conveyor enables mechanical connection between the self-supporting collecting scraper conveyor and the main drive unit of the face conveyor, which enables to move PZF simultaneously with the working face conveyor without interrupting the working face extraction.
 
The PZF under working face equipment is adjusted for protected cable lines alongside the collecting scraper conveyor as far as the working face.

Railway Suspended Underface Equipment

The under working face equipment is determined for various variants of a complex solution for the under-working face drawing problem, for a move parallel to the progress/ advance made in the working face and for the position and move of the electrical equipment issue related to it.

 
The under working face equipment is installed in a way that makes it possible to perform a mechanical connection between the gathering conveyor and the main drive unit of the face conveyor and at the same time it protects the cable line as far as the working face.
 
When using a flexible line there is possible to move the PZF without the necessity to switch off the high voltage supply. This is an adjusted scraper conveyor that is suspended and travels on a suspension railway.
 
The underworking face equipment suspended on a suspension railway consists of:
 
• suspended drive of the scraper conveyor incl. the displacement
• HNZ stretching equipment
• suspended line of a scraper conveyor
• equipment for pulling the scraper conveyor
• placing the line on a footwall, P1 and reinforced
• mobile power station by the client´s request
 
The PZF under working face equipment can be used for various types of the scraper conveyors according to the customer´s requirements.

Coal Crushers DU

Application

Coal Crushers DU series were developed for crushing coal and stone, or other materials having strength up to 130 MPa. They are located in entries within the scraper conveyor line. They can be used in connection with different types of scraper conveyors, and with under-face equipment.
 

Technical description

Coal crushers DU series consist of basic parts (input, middle and output trough; input, middle and output case, middle case lid, crushing drum, drive, flywheel with friction coupling, drive cover, spraying, and automation elements);with horizontally placed crushing drum. There are 4 knife disks on the crushing drum shaft with screwed crushing bits. The machine is driven by an electric motor and it rotates a robust flywheel by means of a set of V-belts; the flywheel ensures appropriate torque for mine run crushing. Conveyor, crusher and spraying run, operational safety and device protection against damages are secured by the automatic control.

Anchorage of the Face Conveyers

The KPD-F 02 anchorage equipment is determined for anchoring the driving stations for the face conveyors ( like. DH 830, Westfalia PF 4, 3 HB 260 a.p.) up to 20 degrees gradient / pitch.

The basic precondition for using the KPD-F 02 anchorage is the driving station for the face conveyor to be placed in an opening either under or over the working face.
 
KPD-F 02 anchorage equipment has a unit-construction and enables:
 
• an anchorage of the face conveyor driving station on the discharging or on the reverse end
• a mechanical connection between the working face and gathering conveyors
• an anchorage of the gathering conveyor reverse station
• using the face or the side re-loading
• both left and right hand side arrangements of the working face
• connecting the mechanically powered support to guarantee the working face-opening contact
 
The anchorage of the KPD-F 02 face conveyor makes it possible to connect in a mechanical way the collecting scraper conveyor with the working face driving station, which enables to move the PZF simultaneously with the working face conveyor without interrupting the working face extraction.

HNZ Hydraulic Tensioning Equipment

Serves as follows for tensioning the transport chain up to the necessary pre-stressing and for handling the transport chain, for its release on disconnection.
 
The basic width of a trough is 1500 mm and by means of two hydraulic cylinders (or stretching bolts) it is possible to elongate it up to the length of 1 700 mm. The trough construction enables to lay it both on the footwall and to suspend it on a suspension railway as a component of a suspended gathering scraper conveyor.

NZ-F02 Tensioning Equipment

The NZ-F02 equipment is determined for tensioning the transport 26 x 92 a 30 x 108 chain with a pitch of 100, 120 or 200 mm in case of the scraper conveyors. It serves as an auxiliary equipment for tensioning the chain on its disconnection followed by connection by means of the chain couplings.
 
The NZ-F02 equipment is ready to be used after putting the suspensions into the scraper and securing this position by a hinged pin between the chains. The equipment guarantees a safe disconnection of the transport chain, this firstly by the construction of the suspensions that are secured on the scraper and secondly by controlling them from a safe point inside the conveyor. The pre-stressing regulation is controlled by a pressure gauge thats an integrated part of the hydraulic distribution system. Advantages are the possibilities to be used in any point of the conveyor and also a small weight of the equipment.

Transfer Equipment

BPZ-F Chainless Transfer Equipment:

The chainless transfer equipment is determined for transfer of the working face driving stations, plough driving stations and other technology equipment of a large weight.
 
It consists of a frame, catch, two straight hydraulic motors with control, anchorage and draw bars. The transfer is accomplished in the way of pulling the hydraulic motors over the draw bar catch to which there is anchored the equipment we need to transfer.

TZ-F Tractive Equipment

TZ-F tractive equipment is especially determined for the under working face transfer where this equipment is suspended on suspension railway. The equipment is positioned immediately behind the coal crusher and is an integrated part of PZF. It consists of the grips, tractive chains of 34 mm diameter, post connection chains of 18 mm diameter, anchorage head frames with a possibility to have a side spacing anchorage and of four straight hydraulic motors where two of them serve for PZF transfer by a width of advance per round of the coal-getting machine and two others for displacing the anchorage head frames. This equipment tractive force amounts to 120 tons in total.

Auxiliary Thrust Equipment

The auxiliary thrust equipment is to be connected to the KPD- F 02 anchorage frame grips where the driving unit of the working face conveyor can either have a longitudinal or vertical arrangement. Two anchorage shoes make it possible to mount the IHV supports under the 15o pitch. The equipment will develop a maximum thrust force of 46 tons. This equipment is being successfully used particularly for transferring the auxiliary working face conveyor drive.

Suspension Stepping Equipment

The suspension stepping equipment serves for a transfer mobile power station dedusting systems, auxiliary equipment etc. using the suspension railway. When splitting a mobile power station due to it weight and there is used a multiple suspension stepping equipment design. The equipment consists of a unit, hydraulic cylinder for the transfer, control panel and connecting elements.

After an exact specification of the machine parts, components and equipment that has to be transferred it is possible to design such a suspension stepping equipment that guarantees a safe transfer but with an optimum maximum possible operation economy target.

In case of the P2 and P4 suspension stepping equipment the transfer direction can be controlled by means of the spherical cock. In all designs it is possible to use the braking unit with the possible installation on the suspension railway without dismantling it.

Flexible Cable Lines

The flexible cable lines serve for a safe way of laying the cables (particularly the HV cables) and producing their necessary reserve. It also makes possible to either shorten or prolong the length between the fixed cable suspensions and the mobile power station when transferring it, this without the necessity to switch off the high voltage supply.
 
This equipment consists of the holders that are in the carrying TD-4Z trucks cable erectors that guarantee the cable sagging above/ over mineral being transported in a safe distance.
The equipment described above is regularly used together with the suspended stepping equipment. The cable holders in various designs serve for their safe position on the under-working face equipment.

Mobile Power Stations

The conveyances of suspension and transfer of the electric equipment (mobile power stations) are determined to transfer the electric equipment parallel to the working face or extracted opening.

The conveyances of suspending the electrical equipment on a suspension railway

The transformers and contactors suspensions - in various designs have a that makes it possible attach to them any transformer or in a simple way to facilitate its simultaneously with mobile power station while using the manipulation suspension railway that an integrated part of the under working face equipment.
 
The cable transport frames - serve for temporary cable position while they either wound or unwound depending on the way of use. Mostly these frames are on railway in front of mobile power station in a connection with a flexible cable line and suspended stepping equipment.

Conveyances of positioning the equipment on additional of the under-working face equipment

These are the frames for the transformers, contactors etc. They serve for attaching this equipment directly to the under-working face collecting flight conveyor line and they are transfered simultaneously with PZF.

This equipment advantages:

• possibility to use all electric equipment currently used minimum building height
• creating a space for maintenance and repairs on the equipment
• the equipment has resolved the problem of varying pitches of the opening
• moving the whole el.equipment together with the working face advance
• in case of a small opening height the mobile power station is placed on the setting-up PZF plates
